My beautiful Jessy, my HoneyBee 🍯🐝,

Today is July 16, 2026. Odyssey is finally out, and in a few hours, I am standing up to defend my Master's thesis. But amidst all the noise and the massive achievements happening today, the only thing echoing in my mind is that today marks exactly 1,000 days since our very first official date.

A thousand mornings ago I did not know your coffee order, the way you laugh with your whole body, or how quiet then crazy you go and you dance with your body when a song you love comes on. Now I know all of it, and I am still, joyfully, learning you.

ألف يوم عدوا وكأنهم لحظة، بس في نفس الوقت حاسس إنهم عمر بحاله. من أول يوم خرجنا فيه سوا، وأنا عارف إن إنتي اللي هكمل معاها طريقي. ألف يومٍ مضى، وما زلتِ المعنى الذي أستيقظُ لأجله. في كل صباحٍ أرى فيكِ بحراً جديداً، وأتعلّمُ أن أُبحرَ فيكِ من جديد. أنتِ البيت، والطريق، والوجهة كلّها في آنٍ واحد.

We have fought through the hardest boss battles to get here. We have been through cities we did not plan for, rooms that were too small, troubles that we faced, and mornings that felt like small miracles. We survived the silence of long distance, the endless airport terminals, the late night online dates, and the chaotic time jumps across Poland, the Netherlands, and Egypt. Every one of them chose us back. You embraced the absolute hardest path because you believed in us, and I will never, ever forget that.

المسافات عمرها ما كانت عائق لينا. قلبي كان دايماً معاكي، وروحنا متجمعة في كل مكالمة وكل ضحكة وكل خطة بنرسمها للمستقبل. إنتي مش بس حبيبتي، إنتي شريكتي في كل حاجة. إن كان الحبُّ رحلةً، فأنتِ الميناءُ والسفينةُ والنجمةُ. وإن سألني أحدٌ يوماً عن أجملِ ما فعلتُ في هذه الحياة، سأقولُ: اخترتُكِ، ثم اخترتُكِ، ثم اخترتُكِ.

Every line of code I write, every exam I pass, and every time I put on that black suit to step into a professional room, I am doing it to build the empire we promised each other.

Here is to the next thousand, and the thousand after that. I am not done swimming with you. Not ever.
